WDSAI may collect and maintain information connected with applications, nominations, participation in the Faculty Excellence Exchange, and Fellowship records, including:

Every Fellow is entered in the Register of Fellows, where their Fellowship may be verified.
A public entry may include the Fellow’s name, FWDSAI post-nominal, designation and institution at the time of conferral, country, conferral date, verification ID, and Fellowship status. A published Practice Paper may be linked from the public entry only where the Fellow has chosen publication.
WDSAI does not make private contact details, account information, Implementation Notes, unpublished Practice Papers or drafts, review comments, private correspondence, article pitches, or session proposals publicly accessible.
Entry in the Register of Fellows forms part of Fellowship conferral and is separate from the optional permissions described below.
Where optional recognition permission is provided, WDSAI and its associated organizations may use the participant’s name, approved photograph, and institutional affiliation in program communications, recognition features, and related materials.
Where optional Fellows’ network permission is provided, the participant’s name and institutional affiliation may be visible to other Fellows in the Exchange.
These optional permissions do not affect the review of an application or participation in the Exchange. They may be withdrawn by writing to facultyexcellence@wdsai.org.
Personal information is handled only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Authorized WDSAI personnel and reviewers may access information where necessary to administer applications and participation, review submissions, confirm completion of Fellowship requirements, or consider voluntary contributions.
Information required for Fellowship conferral, co-signing of the conferral document, and maintenance of the Register of Fellows may be shared with DASCA and ARTiBA.
Where optional recognition permission has been provided, the information covered by that permission may be shared with organizations associated with the Exchange for the stated purpose.
Authorized service providers may process information to support website hosting, document storage, security, email communication, analytics, and technical maintenance.
WDSAI may disclose information where required by law or where necessary to protect the website, its users, or the integrity of Fellowship records.
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or loss.
Public Register of Fellows entries and published Practice Papers may be retained to support ongoing Fellowship verification and preserve the historical record of conferral.
Other personal information, including application, account, participation, submission, review, contribution, support, and technical records, is retained only for as long as reasonably required for Exchange administration, Fellowship recordkeeping, security, or legal compliance.
Individuals may request correction of inaccurate personal information. Fellows may also request correction of inaccurate information displayed in their public Fellowship entry. WDSAI may request supporting documents or identity verification before making a change.
WDSAI may update this Privacy Policy when its website functions, information practices, or applicable requirements change.
